PBN permanent magnet brake module with clamping shaft design can be directly mounted onto servo motors for saving space. This special safety design is applied to the Z axis of machine tools. PBN can stop Z axis from slipping when servo motors are dismantled for machine maintenance, and the inside permanent magnet brake can keep holding the load. Due to the connection between brake and brake shaft is via a spring plate, there is no backlash at the moment of braking, and no drag torque and noises while brake shaft is rotating.
